Eligibility
All qualified Cornell undergraduates are eligible to participate in Cornell in Washington, regardless of college or major, based on a competitive admission process.
- Ordinarily, students participate in their junior year, or during the first semester of their senior year.
- Second-semester seniors are eligible, but those in the College of Arts & Sciences must petition the College to spend their last semester off-campus.
- Second-semester sophomores may participate if their curricular plans make it difficult to do so in their junior or senior year.
- ILR students should attach a note to the application indicating that Brigid Beachler has been informed of this application. There is no restriction on ILR students participating in the Cornell in Washington Program.
