Semester Info Every semester at Cornell in Washington is a little different from every other semester. Yet, the more things change, the more they remain the same. The two core courses of the program are offered every semester, while the electives offered vary from semester to semester. You will arrange an externship at an exciting work location in Washington, which may be a place already in our externship directory or it may be one you find on your own. We will have a set of extracurricular activities planned, some of which we repeat every semester and some of which vary.
